But instead all I see is a reflection of me
I have no one left to comfort me
So I take comfort in my own tears
Tell me something to keep me going
All I see are lips moving but nothing comes out
My tears are my shelter
They're what keeps me safe at night
To hide myself from the world keeps me protected

I just want to hide under the covers
To never feel the pain again that I've felt before
I dont want to make things worse
But things never work out for me anymore
I wish that people would stop thinking of me as happy go lucky
Lying under the covers every night
I cry to myself, I silently pray to myself
Somebody please save me
